The Story Behind Brainstein Academy

It wasn’t until I got into the final years of high school, that I started to struggle with learning. Noticing how hard I tried to study and succeed, yet not getting the desired results. Things became worse during my college years in pharmacy and my low GPA. My older siblings had entered the medical field and advanced with their degrees with minimal effort, while I hated anything to do with learning.

Then I started to wonder if I'm not as smart as others!

As I was struggling to learn quickly or to remember what I’ve learned. Hence it became a challenge for me to find answer! I came to learn that everyone’s brain favors a different learning method, and I was using the wrong method in memorizing my studies. This was a key component and which later I determined was one of several factors impeding my learning and development.

Once I " broke the code" I became thirsty for learning!

The more I learned the more confident I felt. Only through this discovery was I able to complete my MBA, and advance further by earning my PhD in Public Health, while raising three kids!

I felt it was important to share this discovery with my students

Hence was a key focus area with my college students. It was this work that allowed me to be recognized with the honored faculty award!

I developed Brainstein Academy with a diverse team of medical experts
